I would love to see Chad Ocho Cinco traded to some team that has number 85 retired (assuming he actually gets that name on his hideously orange Bengal's jersey). To me, that would be effing hilarious. I can hear the announcers now..."number 83, Ocho Cinco, is down on the play. It looks like a severed head. He might be out for a while" or something along those lines.

Things are going well in this young season. Dominance is the only word to describe my week one performance. Michael Turner and Donovan McNabb...thank you for your help. I would like some input on something, though, if anyone out there feels they can answer the following question. Should I take the fact that people are sending me trade proposals saying that I "desperately need help at WR" as a sign that I don't need to trade? I have Randy and Santana Moss, Patrick Crayton and Devery Henderson who should be picking up some serious points now with Colston's injury and i scored the most points in week one. These other teams seem to be the desperate ones to me as they are practically begging me for Big Ben and D-Mac. It seems that they are in dire need of a QB and are trying to make m

I know a lot of people are in the same boat as me: you are anxiously awaiting the start of another hockey season. I am apretty big football fan as well so at least I have that to occupy my time for the next few weeks until the real games start i the NHL, but mostly all NFL coverage is about Tom Brady or ends up being tied to him in some way. For example, you might hear something like "Vince Young has a bad knee so...hey, wait, you know who else has knees? Tom Brady! So yeah, one can only take so much of that. And besides football there's only one other thing really being discussed these days and that is the presidential election which has reached some new level of repetition and dead-horse-beating and is therefore intolerable at best at this point. I did get temporarily excited when e

Since hockey season is not quite here I'll continue writing about the currently 2-0 Steelers. Last night we beat the hapless Browns, once again. It was a close game, though, and therefore was a showcase of the finer points of football such as coaching, time management and  decision making. In several key moments, the most important action was taking place not on the field, but underneath the glorious, well-groomed hair of Mike Tomlin and behind the catfish-like face of Romeo Crennel.

Late in the second quarter, with Cleveland driving towards a momentum-shifting touchdown, Romeo and his band of overrated jocks  screwed up as any good Brown would, by not calling a time-out opting rather to try and run a quick play. The play went nowhere and took valuable time off the clock that could have been used to take an extra shot at the endzone. i'm not complaining that they erred, nothing pleases me more than Cleveland failing, I'm just saying that one poor decision changed the course of the rest of the game considerably. Imagine if the Browns could have had another chance to score, there may have still been a glimmer of hope for a win.

Last season the Penguins overcame quite a few injuries, namely to Sid and The Flower, and made it to the finals. Hopefully, they can do that again and hopefully the injuries will be less of a big deal than last year but so far it's not going too smoothly. Ryan Whitney went down in the summer and now Sarge is possibly out for a ginormous chunk of the season as well. These guys represent our top two defensemen so it'll be tough to start of the season without them, but I think we'll do just fine. True, Whitney and Gonchar are essential on the powerplay and we have a couple of more or less unproven D-men like Letang and Goligowski but we can't forget about the veterans we do have. Scuderi is solid, Eaton is good when healthy, Sydor is a proven vet and Hal Gill is possibly too gigantic to get a
